The Council offers services to youth as part of a school-based program, at the request of a parent, child, teacher, or when referred by a court. Prevention services are provided for both primary and secondary schools.
Primary school services include: classroom presentations, after school programs such as New Day and Southside Community Center, summer programming through Summer Cohesion, and community awareness presentations/events.
Secondary school services include: ADAP (Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program) educational program, tobacco education groups, Life Skills Training program, and assessment and referral. Training programs and presentations can be developed to meet individual needs.
